Full Facelift

A full facelift involves having incisions made from the temple to the lower scalp, going behind the ear. Sometimes it may also include a neck lift in which an incision is made in the front of the ear as well. Skin is lifted, and fat repositioned sometimes, to give a firm finished result.

Mini Facelift

A mini facelift will only involve incisions behind the ears – keeping them invisible to anybody looking at you. This sort of facelift also differs because skin is lifted outward instead of upward, and the result can look more natural than a traditional facelift.

The Difference

The difference here depends mostly on skin laxity and the neck and jowls. If you have excess sagging in the neck or jowls, a mini facelift cannot correct these. You will have to undergo a full facelift to get the skin lifted and trimmed.
