Arms

Start with a goal of 20 pushups in a row and go up or down from there depending on your ability. Pushups will strengthen your biceps, triceps, and shoulders while also working your chest and legs.

Arm Circles: Arm circles are simple, but they can be an effective way to tone and strengthen your arms. Stand straight with your feet slightly apart and raise your arms until your body forms a T shape. Keep your legs and torso still and keep your arms straight while moving them in counterclockwise circles that are about 1 foot in diameter. Then switch to clockwise circles to make sure you work your muscles evenly.

Legs

Lunges: Lunges are a challenging but simple way to strengthen your legs. Keep your left foot in place while stepping far forward with your right foot. Your back leg should bend until you knee almost touches the ground. Make sure that your right knee doesn’t extend past your toes. Switch to the left leg and repeat. To make it more challenging hold a pair of dumbbells and curl them as you step forward.

Buttocks

Glute Kickbacks: Kneel on the ground and put your hands on the floor. Keep your arms and back straight while lifting your right leg and kicking it back. Raise it until your thighs are parallel to the floor, then switch legs.

Abs

Planks: Planks are a simple way to tone your abs without straining your neck. Get into pushup position and then instead of lowering your body, hold the position for 30 seconds. To make it more challenging raise one arm or leg off the floor or try balancing on your side with just one hand and one foot on the floor. Keep your abs tight and your back straight at all times.
